are uniting everyone who earns a living on the Web. Craig’s list has just posted their opposition in an unprecedented way as red letter info on all their front pages. Also Reddit and Boing Boing are promising to go dark.
While I’ve never seen much liberal-minded activism from the tech sector, everyone seems to be on full throttle opposition against this corporate entertainment industry effort right now. Even Obama has issued a statement that’s opposed to this draconian legislation that seeks to align US censorship of international websites in ways similar to how China censors their web traffic. Looks like the only people supporting this bill are the corporate entertainment industry and the politicians they funded to represent their interests.
